Students who have the courage of moral conviction and an interest in majoring in History, Political Philosophy, Theology, English, Modern and Classical Languages, or the Fine Arts, may qualify for this scholarship. Early Decision Value: $20,000 per year Recipients of this distinguished and highly-competitive award can receive up to $20,000 per year in financial assistance. (This offer is inclusive of all other scholarship and grants offered through Belmont Abbey College.) Regular Decision Value: $17,000 per year Recipients of this distinguished and highly-competitive award can receive up to $17,000 per year in financial assistance. Eligibility:
Minimum non-weighted high school grade point average of 3.4 or higher and a combined verbal and math SAT or ACT score of an 1100.
Students are also required to submit a 300-400-word essay on one of the following topics:
1) Tell us about a time when you publicly demonstrated the courage of your moral convictions.
2) Tell us why you consider yourself a Renaissance Man or Woman.
