La Trobe University offers ELICOS scholarships for Latin Americans at the University in Australia in the field of Accounting ,Business ,Business (Domestic), Education Engineering, Event Management, English , Film Studies, Social Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Computer Science, Information Technology ,Journalism Information, Technology (Domestic), Media Studies ,Psychology, Multimedia Technology, Health Sciences. ELICOS scholarships will be awarded on merit to Latin American students commencing study in 2011 or 2012. These scholarships will provide up to twenty weeks free ELICOS training for successful applicants at La Trobe Melbourne. These scholarships are open to Latin American students applying for a University degree program at La Trobe University. ELICOS scholarships and will be offered as a package – ELICOS+Degree – for study at La Trobe University.
All candidates interested in applying for the scholarship must be Latin American students only, must apply in conjunction with a University degree program at La Trobe University, must commence their degree program at La Trobe University after completion of ELICOS training, must submit an application form to be considered.
Scholarships are for commencement of ELICOS in 2011 or 2012 only. Up to 20 weeks free ELICOS will be provided, depending on availability and individual student requirements.
Students who require more than 20 weeks ELICOS to reach the English language requirement of their course will be required to pay for ELICOS training above and beyond the 20 weeks.
