CRASSH provides the second round of a two-year pilot scheme for a Charles Wallace India Trust Visiting Fellowship in the field of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. CRASSH offers an office or work-space for each Visiting Fellow at the Centre, with full access to its facilities, and provides a congenial social environment in which visitors, staff and scholars can interact on an informal and regular basis. CRASSH will facilitate access to further university resources (libraries, museums, etc). CWIT Fellows are expected to play a full part in the activities of the Centre and to contribute to the weekly work-in-progress seminars.
All candidates interested in applying for the fellowship must be earlier-career academics from India between the ages of 25 and 45 years, have been in full-time academic employment in an Indian university or research institute of equivalent standing for at least five years and have completed a PhD.
Scholarship Application Deadline: 31 October 2011.
