Tender for main program: The aim of FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart is to support and promote contemporary photography and photographic art in Germany and abroad. FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart consists of the FOTOSOMMER Award Show, FOKUS 0711 and Gallery Shows with various events. The main FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart 2010 exhibition will take place from 17th July until 20th August 2010 in the “Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart“. A jury will select the participants for the exhibition. Decisions made by the jury are not debatable.
Topic: The topic for works that you would like to submit can be selected freely. All photographic genres are permitted though they should be in completed piece of work / series. An independent and contemporary position should be recognizable.
Participation: All photographers and artists who work with the medium of photography as well as all students in the design faculty with focus on photography at a university, art school or academy will be eligible as will photographic assistants.
Prize Money: Three prize winners will be awarded with the "SÜDWESTBANK-FOTOSOMME R Award 2010" and will receive a total of 5.000,- Euro (2.500,- / 1.500,- / 1.000.- Euro)
