Nuffic provide Orange Tulip Masters Programme Scholarship at Delft University of Technology, Netherland for Mexican Students in Applied Sciences. The scholarship includes full tuition waiver: € 25,300 (€ 12,650 per year for the 2-year programme), contribution towards living expenses worth € 800 per month, visa costs (will be automatically deducted from the amount the student receives for living costs). All candidates interested in applying for the scholarship must have Bachelors degree in a related field, as specified per programme on the TU Delft website, have English language level of TOEFL iBT 90, IELTS 6.5 or Cambridge English Certificate.

The Harry Ransom Center annually awards over 50 fellowships to support projects that require substantial on-site use of its collections. The fellowships support research in all areas of the humanities, including literature, photography, film, art, the performing arts, music, and cultural history. Applicants must demonstrate the necessity of substantial on-site use of the Center’s collections.

Darat al Funun-The Khalid Shoman Foundation is honored to announce the establishment of a dissertation fellowship to encourage research on modern and contemporary art of the Arab world. The fellowship provides financial support of up to ten thousand dollars to Ph.D. candidates in the humanities and social sciences. One to three fellowships will be granted. The fellowship duration can range from 4-12 months of residency at Darat al Funun in Amman, Jordan. Fellowship funding is intended to compensate travel and stipend expenses. Darat al Funun will provide housing and office space. Fellows are responsible for their own health insurance.

Through its three scholarship programs, the Elks National Foundation awards more than $3.6 million a year in college scholarships. Mayo Greenberg provide Postgraduate Research Scholarship Prize for international applicants in the field of Astrophysics at Leiden Observatory in Netherlands. Leiden Observatory and the Leids Universiteitfonds have pleasure in inviting applications for the fifth J. Mayo Greenberg Scholarship Prize. Mrs. Naomi Greenberg and family members of the late Professor J. Mayo Greenberg, the distinguished Leiden astrophysicist, have generously provided funds for this scholarship in memory of Professor Greenberg. Additional funding is provided by the Kruytbosch Legacy, the Leids Universiteitfonds and Leiden Observatory.

Factors which are considered in the holistic evaluation of William C. Parker scholarship applications include test scores, grades, an essay, leadership experience, extracurricular activities, awards and recognition, community service and contribution to diversity. The Marc de Montalembert Foundation and the French National Institute of Art History provide Marc de Montalembert Prize 2012 in arts of the Mediterranean world, the French National Institute of Art History. The Marc de Montalembert Foundation and the French National Institute of Art History (INHA) have formed a partnership to create and administer the Marc de Montalembert Prize, an award of 8,000 euros intended to further, over a period of six to nine months, a research project whose outcome should constitute an original contribution to the knowledge of the arts of the Mediterranean world. Interested candidates must be be a citizen of a country on the Mediterranean coast, or have been born in one of these countries, o be less than 35 years of age on the closing date of the applications period, o hold a university degree.

Despite phytoplankton, viruses and zooplankton grazers being key players in aquatic ecosystems, only sparse knowledge exists of their seasonal and interactive role in the Antarctic waters. Given the global interest in the Antarctic Peninsula for its ecological importance to the food web, and for the climate change-induced environmental changes occurring there, it is timely to study the following barely explored objectives: (1) the temporal dynamics of phytoplankton, viruses and zooplankton in the coastal waters of the western Antarctic Peninsula, (2) determine viral lysis rates of phytoplankton and compare to micro- and mesozooplankton grazing, (3) examine to what extent viral infection affects the lipid composition of phytoplankton in field and laboratory and (4) establish how changing phytoplankton community structure and biochemical composition controls the lipid composition and overwintering strategies of dominant calanoid copepods. This project is a synergistic study on important interactive processes in the waters of the Antarctic Peninsula that are experiencing rapid environmental change.

The object of this scholarship scheme is to establish – as a permanent memorial to the late Guy Clutton Brock, Hero of Zimbabwe and graduate of Magdalene College – scholarships at postgraduate level in the University of Cambridge for the benefit of students from Zimbabwe. Subject to the availability of funds, we aim to have up to two Clutton-Brock Scholars in residence at any one time for: a one-year graduate taught course, leading to a postgraduate qualification (usually the MPhil degree) and a three-year course of research, leading to the PhD degree.

The scholarship is to the value of R350 000 per annum for a maximum of two years and is available to a South African citizen, for study outside South Africa in any discipline at the internationally recognized University of their choice for a Postgraduate degree. Excellence is the only criteria for selection. What makes this scholarship different from most is not only the personal interest which Laurie Dippenaar takes in the selection process, but also his interest in the ongoing progress of the recipient. Scholarship criteria are set out below. The successful candidate has to return to South Africa for at least 5 years after completing his or her studies.
