The Langley Aerospace Research Summer Scholars (LARSS) Program is one of NASA’s most successful student programs, for 25 years providing mentored, paid, research internships to undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of Science, Technoloy, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as well as in Business, Communication, Marketing, and other areas that support NASA’s mission.NASA LaRC invites rising undergraduate juniors and seniors, and graduate students who are pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering (most fields, particularly aeronautical, electrical, chemical, and mechanical), Mathematics, materials science, atmospheric science and other aerospace-related fields, as well as other majors that lend support to NASA’s mission in special project areas such as accounting, business, public administration, English, journalism, history, photography and media arts to apply for the LARSS program. Females and students from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
Nuestra Juventud Scholarship Program for Hispanic Students, USA 2011

Golden Corral provides Undergraduate Scholarship Hispanic Students to study at any College or University in USA in the field of subjects offered by the university. Each year Univision 40 (WUVC) recongizes young Hispanic leaders in North Carolina’s schools through their “Nuestra Juventud” scholarship program. Seven students will be selected to receive a scholarship for the college or university of their choice. Monthly winner will be featured on a vignette to run on Univision 40 for one month. Vida Carolina will dedicate an entire show to the scholarship winners during the month of June. The student with the highest overall score will receive an “Outstanding Achievement Award.”
Charles Wallace India Trust Visiting Fellowship at CRASSH, UK

CRASSH provides the second round of a two-year pilot scheme for a Charles Wallace India Trust Visiting Fellowship in the field of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. CRASSH offers an office or work-space for each Visiting Fellow at the Centre, with full access to its facilities, and provides a congenial social environment in which visitors, staff and scholars can interact on an informal and regular basis. CRASSH will facilitate access to further university resources (libraries, museums, etc). CWIT Fellows are expected to play a full part in the activities of the Centre and to contribute to the weekly work-in-progress seminars.
2012 NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, USA

UCAR provides Postdoctoral Fellowship in the field of Climate and Global Change at USA Research Institution. The program pairs recently graduated PhDs with host scientists at U.S. institutions to work in an area of mutual interest. The program aims to create the next generation of climate researchers. The NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellowships focus on observing, understanding, modeling, and predicting climate variability and change on seasonal and longer time scales. This includes the documentation and analysis of past, current, or possible future climate variability and change and the study of the underlying physical, chemical, and biological processes.
AMS/Industry Minority Scholarships for Minority Students, USA

The AMS/Industry Minority Scholarships will award funding to minority students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students. The American Meteorological Society (AMS) Minority Scholarships help support the college educations of minority students traditionally underrepresented in the sciences, especially Hispanic, Native American, and Black/African American students, who intend to pursue careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. The two-year scholarships, funded by industry and through donations made by members to the AMS 21st Century Campaign, are for $3000 for a nine-month period in the freshman year and an additional $3000 for a nine-month period in the sophomore year.
Master’s Student Minority Scholarship and the Minority Supervision Stipend Program, USA

The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Research and Education Foundation announces a call for applications for the Master’s Student Minority Scholarship and Minority Supervision Stipend Program for the 2011-2012 academic year. The AAMFT Research and Education Foundation and the AAMFT Awards Committee is pleased to offer minorities of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds the opportunity to pursue training for the profession of marriage and family therapy. Each year, the Foundation will provide: 1) up to three scholarships to master’s level minority students (per recipient: up to $2,000; a plaque; and funding to attend the conference, not including the pre-conference institute) 2) up to two stipends to minority supervisors-in-training (per recipient: waiver of supervision application processing fee; up to $750 to offset the cost of supervision; conference registration fee waived, not including pre-conference institute).

SERTOMA Scholarship provides Communicative Disorders Scholarship Program for Students with Communicative Disorders for Graduate Level Program in Speech Language Pathology and/or Audiology in USA. Scholarship Program $1,000 scholarship to cover tuition, books and supplies. The funds may be used for any term, including the summer term, during the awarded academic school year. Support from Sertoma provides the funding for the scholarships. All scholarship applications and requested materials must be received at Sertoma Headquarters by 4:00 pm Central Time on March 30th each year. If the deadline falls on a weekend, the following Monday will be used as the deadline date. Sertoma will acknowledge receipt of applications by e-mail only. To recognize achievement by blind scholars, the National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the United States the opportunity to win one of thirty national scholarships worth from $3,000 to $12,000.
2011–2012 The New York Times College Scholarship Program, USA

The New York Times Company and a gift from the Starr Foundation provide Graduate Scholarship for U.S. citizens in USA in the field of subjects offered by the university. Up to eight high school seniors will be selected to receive four-year scholarships for a maximum of $7,500 annually to attend any nationally accredited four-year college to which they have been admitted for full-time study. Students will also receive a summer internship at The New York Times, educational and job counseling, mentoring, cultural experiences and a laptop. The students will receive their scholarship funding from The New York Times Company Foundation, public contributions and an endowment fund, supported primarily by a gift from the Starr Foundation.
