The conference is convened by Faculty of Aerospace Engineering,Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Elbit Systems Ltd, Israel Aerospace Industries, Israel Military Industries, Israel National Committee for Space Research, Israel Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Israel Space Agency, MoD/Directorate of Defense R&D, RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems, Tel-Aviv University. Two Day - Two City Conference: February 23, 2011 - Dan Panorama Hotel, Tel Aviv, Israel and February 24, 2011 - Technion Campus, Haifa, Israel.
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers covering basic and applied research. The conference proceedings will be available in electronic form and a hard copy of the Collection of Abstracts will be distributed to participants upon registration.
The Conference constitutes a forum for presenting and discussing recent advances in all areas of aerospace sciences and in particular:

• Student Project Competition
The conference will sponsor the annual undergraduate student competition. The competition is open to individuals or groups of undergraduate students who have conducted a design project. Submission is only possible through the project supervisor. The students works will be presented in a special session.
Paper Submission
1. Full paper drafts, or extended abstracts of about 1000 words plus figures and tables written in English, must be submitted electronically at the following website before October 15, 2010. A signed security clearance form (available from the same site) is a prerequisite for submission. 2. Papers will be judged based on their scientific and technical content, relevance to the scope of the conference, and originality. Following the reviewing process, approximately the end of November 2010, the authors will be notified whether their paper have been accepted or rejected.
3. Final manuscripts of accepted papers, together with text-based abstracts, should be uploaded through the conference papers site by January 31, 2011. Manuscript and text-based abstract preparation and formatting instructions will be available on this site. Please note that the conference enforces the "no paper no podium and no podium no paper" rule. Authors of extended abstracts should keep this rule in mind when submitting their work.
